Rough Cut and Feedback
In today's lesson, we put our footage together to make a rough cut of how our film will be presented. This was done on Final Cut Pro where we edited the footage by trimming scenes and linking them together.
From todays lesson, this gives us a better insight and ideas of how we should edit our final film and what will be needed for example, foley sound and music, titles, credits and effects such as flashes to link the scenes together more effectively.
Furthermore, from this rough cut we have come to realise that without the effects the scenes may not come together as clearly to the audience. This might affect the audience's views about the film if they lose interest in the opening.
Although we are not satisfied with this rough cut, we hope we can make improvements within the week by editing for the final thriller opening.
