The Rough Cut - Personal Feedback



CONS :(

Whilst watching the rough cut several times at home and at college, I weren't really satisfied and happy with what we put together. :(

I found that the scenes were too jumpy and didn't link nicely together. So I hope that we can improve this in our final opening by making them link together clearly.

I also found it slightly boring because of the fact that there was no background music, which we will definitely add in so that it comes across more as a thriller because it didn't seem to in our rough cut.



PROS :)

However I'm very happy with the very beginning of our rough cut when I am putting the chemicals in a test tube because it is perfect for our title to appear on. I also like the water dripping from the tap because it looks suspensful.

I like how we reversed the little clip of when we put the pink "chemicals" in to the water, it looked very scientific and as if the chemical disappeared.

I think once we edit the footage properly with added effects, the film opening of Reaction should be quite interesting :)
